Thabata Guerra has made a gorgeous film adaptation of Clarice Lispector’s Tentação (Temptation) from the short story collection Felicidade Clandestina (1971). If you haven’t read any Clarice Lispector/Giovanni Pontieiro yet, this video might just inspire you to get to the bookstore.
In Portuguese only, I’m afraid, folks (Does anyone know if this story has been published in English?). To give you a kick start to watch it if you are learning Portuguese, here’s a translation of the first line:
